Rising 6th Grade Parents

We are excited about the opportunity to partner with you in the continued growth of your rising 6th grade student. We know that the transition into middle school can be a curious and uncertain season in your student's life. Our mission is to lead our students into a growing relationship with Christ by creating environments where students can prioritize their relationship with God, influence their friends, and experience personal ministry.

The FIRST STEP in this process is to get your student connected into a small group. To have your student placed in a group, you MUST fill out the enrollment form online. Click here to enroll your student in Xtreme. Because we encourage our students and leaders to spend time together outside of church, we form our groups based on your geographical location. 6th grade groups begin meeting officially on May 31st.

The SECOND STEP is for you, the parent, to attend Xtreme on May 17th with your rising 6th grader. Check your student into UpStreet at your normal service hour, 9 or 11 AM. Then, parents are to come to the Attic while the students remain in the Cafe. The Xtreme staff will "invade" the Cafe and all the 5th graders will be led as a group to the Attic. You and your student will hang out for an Xtreme service. Once they are dismissed to small groups, you will stay behind for an informational meeting geared for parents. For more information about UpStreet Invasion, choose Browns Bridge, Buckhead Church, or North Point.

The THIRD STEP is to save the date for Boot Camp! Boot Camp is our weekend summer event for rising 6th grade students that will help them bond with their small group and small group leader. This event is held June 26-28th at Look Up Lodge in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. Registration for Boot Camp is separate from 6th grade enrollment. Registration for Boot Camp begins online May 17th and will continue until full. Boot Camp registration is limited! Space fills up very fast and will most likely close within a few days. For more information about Boot Camp or to register your student, choose Browns Bridge, Buckhead Church, or North Point. Registration will not open until May 17th at 5PM.
